December 16, 2020 8:50 PMUncle Joe took on many hobbies as I was growing up and some I still have to this day. He wasn't only a great Uncle but also a friend. When he took up mountain biking I was right there with him. He used to pick up me and my bike and hit the trails in Austin. He then picked up comic book and card collecting. Every now and then he would pick me up and he'd take me to the Lockhart card and comic store where we'd hang out and he'd always get me something before we left. Some of the stuff I still have to this day. I watch UFC to this day but I can remember when he got me started on it he would bring dubbed tapes of the originals before it became famous and we'd watch them together. Then of course hi savoring hobby of all time, fishing. When I had the pleasure of having him right down the road from me I was one of his fishing buddies. Up until the last time I seen him I would still ask his advice on fishing topics. Umcle Joe was one of the most selfless people I ever knew. If anyone in his family ever needed help you could bet all you had to do is ask Uncle Joe and he would be on his way in no time. This loss has created the biggest hole in my heart of all I have had to face. I will forever love you for all you did for me. Miss you big!!!
